The Journal of Alcoholics Anonymous

in Scotland

Carrying the message..........

The meeting in print between meetings in person

From the Journal:-

"Roundabout is AA's magazine in Scotland. It was first published in 1951.
Like all other AA magazines, Roundabout is unique to its country of origin. The contributors are mainly Scottish but we do accept and, indeed, have regular contributions from countries such as the United States, Ireland, Spain, et al.
We don't, however, print extracts from other AA magazines or other AA literature unless one of our readers sends in an extract and specifically asks us to publish it. We firmly believe that our readers have enough originality to supply their own text for their own magazine. In other words, Roundabout should be home-grown.
The magazine has always been affectionately referred to by the members in Scotland as "Our Roundabout". Our aim is to encourage this ....
"

Each month the Roundabout magazine is packed with information, shares and little snippets that keep me going. Have you thought about taking out a subscription to Roundabout? Well now is the time to do it!! Don’t delay, subscribe today, for yourself, your sponsee or your sponsor.

Fancy yourself as a writer? Share your experience, strength and hope with thousands of recovering alcoholics – and see your name in print ( or write anonymously )!

What did it used to be like? What happened? What’s it like now? We want what you have. Tell us your story in up to 1,000 words and don’t be concerned about spelling or punctuation.

Short articles and programme ‘snippets’ are also welcome, but, please, no poetry or obituaries.”
